Baileys Fudge Ingredients

You will need:

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup Baileys Irish cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

PRO TIP: The alcohol content in the Baileys Irish cream fudge is not cooked off, so this is an adult treat!

Substitutions and Additions

BAILEYS: Baileys is only one brand of Irish Cream liqueur; any brand can be used in this Baileys fudge recipe.

How to Make Baileys Fudge

STEP ONE: Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.

PRO TIP: Line the pan with enough parchment paper so that it overhangs the sides of the pan. This will give you a sling that will make lifting the fudge out of the pan easier.

STEP TWO: Place the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a microwave-safe bowl.

STEP THREE: Heat mixture, 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each interval. Heat for a total of 1 to 1½ minutes.

STEP FOUR: Stir until the chocolate is completely melted though the mixture is thick; then stir in the Irish cream and vanilla extract. Initially, the mixture will be thick and lumpy, but as the Baileys incorporates, it will make a smooth pourable mixture.

STEP FIVE: Spread fudge into the prepared loaf pan and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

PRO TIP: To help cut the fudge after chilling, score a grid on the top of the fudge when it is barely set but still warm.

STEP SIX: Lift from the pan by the parchment paper and cut into pieces.

How to Serve Baileys Fudge
